Motorcycle Weekend Sardinia

Some historians say that Sardinia is none other than the mythical Atlantis. Easy to believe: it is a wonderful region full of treasures and its oldest buildings, the “nuraghe”, date back 3,500 years and more.

Sardinia is famous for its fantastic sea and coastline, for its twisty, beautiful, and perfectly paved roads, and for its excellent food and wines, different from any other Italian region.

The local dialect, full of spanish and arabic words, is totally incomprehensible to any other Italian. That is why Sardinians have been conquered many times over the centuries, but never really subdued.

  • Meeting in Rome on Thursday at 5.00 p.m. for motorcycle pick-up
  • Ride to Civitavecchia to get the overnight ferry to Sardinia
  • Two overnights in Sardinia
  • Overnight ferry to Civitavecchia
  • Motorcycle drop-off on Monday morning
  • 200-250 km per day (4-5 hours ride)
