Discover the thrill of the open road on our exclusive motorcycle tour through Portugal and Spain! This unforgettable journey takes you across some of the most scenic and culturally rich landscapes in Europe, combining exhilarating rides with unforgettable experiences.
Starting in Portugal, we’ll cruise through the stunning Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its terraced vineyards and winding roads that are perfect for motorcycles. Crossing into Spain, we’ll visit the historic city of Salamanca, famous for its golden-hued architecture and vibrant atmosphere.
Next, we’ll ride to the medieval city of Ávila, known for its iconic, well-preserved walls and timeless charm. From there, the adventure continues to Plasencia, a city steeped in history, where cobblestone streets and stunning plazas await exploration.
Returning to Portugal, we’ll ascend the dramatic landscapes of Serra da Estrela, the country’s highest mountain range. This leg of the tour offers sweeping views, thrilling curves, and the pure joy of riding through unspoiled nature.

Schedule
- Day 0: Arrival at Porto, Portugal, typically in the A.M. from North America. Relax at the Hotel Ipanema Park and enjoy the afternoon in Porto. A “Meet & and Greet” in the late afternoon will be to assign the cars, complete registration docs etc… before our Welcome Dinner that evening at a typical Portuguese restaurant.
- Day 1: We drive along the Douro Valley between the famous terrace vineyards to the Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta
- Day 2: Another amazing day in the Douro Valley towards the hotel and wine cellar Quinta de Terricha
- Day 3: Along fantastic roads we cross the border of Spain and arrive at the beautiful town of Salamanca, where a sensational “Parador” hotel waits for us
- Day 4: a beautiful drive along winding roads leads us to Avila ant its incredible walls, where we stay in another terrific “Parador” hotel
- Day 5: A free day to enjoy Avila, or a loop ride in the breath-taking mountains of the Castille
- Day 6: we leave Avila for an amazing journey along twisty mountain roads to reach the beautiful town of Plasencia
- Day 7: back to Portugal we climb the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain of Portugal (1993 m – 6538 ft) to an impressive wooden mountain lodge
- Day 8: We head back to Porto where we enjoy a typical portuguese dinner to cenelebrate the end of our tour
- Day 9: Individual transport to Porto Internarional Airport will begin per guests’ flight schedule.
- Morning departures are typically 9:00 or as advised
- Afternoon arrivals normally leave time to relax before dinner
